Hi there! 👋
My name is Chloe and I'm an editorial designer with a passion for finding smart solutions to difficult design challenges.
Currently, I live in Washington, D.C. where I work as a designer and animator for Snapchat Discover at The Washington Post.
I recently graduated with a degree in graphic design from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Most of my time there was spent at The Daily Orange, the independent student newspaper, where I designed and art directed for my first three years of college. The D.O. is where I fell in love with news design, and my work from there has been recognized in several competitions.
During my time as a student, I held a variety of internships and freelance positions where I designed for major publications including The Boston Globe, Northern Virginia Magazine, Allure and Sports Illustrated.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring motion design and making fun gifs for all occasions. I also love to travel and spent four months studying abroad in Denmark. Sometimes, I participate in silly news videos on topics like wine and millenial slang. If I'm not designing, you can usually find me petting dogs, making Spotify playlists or dining at Taco Bell.
