Hi there! 👋
My name is Chloe and I'm an editorial designer, animator and problem-solver.
Currently, I live in Washington, D.C. and work at The Washington Post, where I design print and digital projects around the newsroom. Before that, I spent three years on The Post's Emerging News Products team, designing and animating for The Washington Post and The Lily News on Snapchat Discover.
In 2017, I graduated with a degree in graphic design from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Most of my time there was spent at The Daily Orange, the independent student newspaper, where I designed and art directed for my first three years of college. The D.O. is where I fell in love with news design, and my work from there has been recognized in several competitions.
During my time as a student, I held a variety of internships and freelance positions where I designed for major publications including The Boston Globe, Northern Virginia Magazine, Allure and Sports Illustrated.
In my free time, I enjoy taking photos and making silly gifs. and I love to travel and spent four months studying abroad in Denmark. Sometimes, I participate in fun news videos on topics like wine and millenial slang. If I'm not designing, you can usually find me curating Spotify playlists, dining at Taco Bell or taking photos of my dog, Piper.
